Promotional Empathy

Remember a previous post where I said I'll be playing tennis?

Bullsh*t.

Describes what I feel perfectly
...Then again I haven't checked so this might be the first time mentioning this.
Anyway, only managed to practice for half a day, then my body failed me once again with such activities concerning ANYTHING TO DO WITH BODY MOVEMENTS AND PHYSICAL EXERCISE.

No, I'm not frustrated or any-

YES. I F*CKING AM.

Onward to me advertising the MOST PLAYED PC GAME IN THE WOORLDDDD:

It's a game produced(not sure if this is the right term) by Riot Games which is similar to DotA, except it's a more noob-friendly game. I'm not saying that all LoL players are noob, since I'd be calling myself one if I did, it's just that the learning curve for LoL is slightly easier compared to its predecessor, removing denying in exchange for zoning, introducing smart cast, etc. It's made as such so that the players would be more active playing the game.
Although I'm maining support, so I usually sit in the brush at bot lane trying to either babysit or get aggressive depending on which support I'm using. FTW SONA POKE THAT B*TCHXX HUEHUEHUE

Most of what I stated above might be wrong since this is how I understand the game and which I have loved playing.
#Current Meta Problems, even though I have no qualms against it.
The infographic below should suffice any explanation needed to why YOU should be playing.

I solemnly swear that I have no bias with this game...
Just felt like updating even tho the contents of this post is utter opinionated sh*t. But then it's my blog, so whatever.

This Continuation

My buwan ng wika goal is officially over, and I must say, I DID (which I least expected) enjoyed writing in Filipino. It's as if it invokes something that draws the attention of the reader, seeing that I, myself is one. I can't explain it that well, though. Sucks haaard maan.
Differentiating the two; english gives off a professional feel to what you are writing with while filipino strikes at the emotions, embodying what the author is trying to say.

So with this I'll be writing in two languages now, depending on what I feel is appropriate for it.

Or speak conyo na lang, para more intense!!

Plahiyo at Kopirayt

Karapatang Magpalathala at Panunulad

Wow! Hindi pa nga niya nagawang i-paraphrase, talagang direktang isinalin sa tagalog word per word.

I won't delve deeper on the other accounts of Tito Sotto's incompatibility as a Senator.

Patawad, Paliwanag, at Pamamaraan

Pangalawang Talaarawan

Bow.

Buwan ng Wika

It's August!

Which, in our country, is the "Buwan ng Wika"

Translation: Month of the (Philippine) Language

With this in mind, I took up the challenge of making ALL my posts for this month in my native language: Filipino...excluding this one since, well, I already started it in English. It'll be inconsistent of me to switch from one language to another.

Frankly, I'm not that nationalistic/patriotic of my own country. I think the reason why I think this way is because I was born during the time when the Philippines isn't doing well/slowly descending towards the bottom of the economic triangle (Largely due to the actions of a late president). The country was like a mess as described by my teachers/professors aroung the 1990s, with reforms and everything underway for the fixation of the new and longstanding problems faced by it.
This is mostly from what I know, and isn't 100% factual for I am not fond of reading history books and listening to lectures of such.

In connection above, I even have a harder time writing in our own dialect(although I use it more for speaking...) often using the almighty Google Translate. So with this so called mission, I might get more fluent at it and obtain a greater appreciation of nationalism!!

Next up is about my past and desired hobbies! in tagalog. Nooouuououuuou.

A HOLE lot of books

Lung Cancer and Book Sales

Just kidding

But seriously, this coughing needs to stop.

So, instead of talking about my coughing up blood together with my sputum - which is a mixture of saliva and phlegm; waiting for 2 hours for my doctor to arrive, undergo an x-ray and blood count and to collect my morning spit for three days, and be aware of a hole on my right lung, I'll talk about the 3 DAY BOOK SALE  at Fully Booked, a local bookstore. Or maybe international, but I don't really care.

Anyway, I actually had a list with me but most of them were either out of stock or priced exorbitantly even with the 20% discount. Although I blame me for not going on an earlier date and an earlier time. Sucks.
Here's the list of books (No particular order of preference):
  1. 2030: The Real Story of What Happens to America by Albert Brooks
  2. Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand
  3. Eleven Minutes by Paolo Coelho
    • I don't know why I didn't bought this book even though I am a huge fan of Coelho's works...
  4. Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
  5. Book Thief by Markus Zusak
  6. Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
  7. The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Robert Heinlein
  8. Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
yellow highlight - out of stock
light blue highlight - bought
I was really looking forward to get a hold of The Book Thief but the last copy was reserved by some *insert profanities such as fucking douche bag.
He doesn't deserve the insult...but THE LAST COPY?!?!? lasdjahldgslfhny
Luckily the other one that I wanted to buy - The Knife of Never Letting Go was still available!! Yey!

Plus I came across a work of Audrey Niffenegger, the author of The Time Traveler's Wife (which I really, really liked *tears) and Blindness (since I already finished Seeing) by Jose Saramago. Try reading Saramago's work, his style of writing is very odd and  interesting. 'Em long sentences and studded with commas.

I still need to finish Aleph though, i've been on the same page for 2 months. haha.

It's the FLU

Bedridden...ce

When ill, sleep until all is well

or take meds, inhalers, and every other drug you see that you think is okay

Hail, Ilong Ranger
Recently I've been attracting a lot of attention....from diseases. I've just recovered from food poisoning - I don't even know what I consumed that made me visit the toilet a couple of times a day - and now when I'm nearing the maximum limit of absences, I get the flu. As said by my aunt(who's a doctor), it might be because of my current low resistance - from recent recovery - against foreign entities invading my system.

Or maybe it's just colds coupled with a slight fever, but it still counts!

Decided on staying home for the day, I planned on finishing the plate due this morning before going to sleep last night so I wouldn't be lagging behind class. It was supposed to be a finalized version of one of our previous plate.
  • Lost the original
  • Technical pens clogged
  • Too tired to stay awake
Yep...cleaned my tech pens instead.

Oh, I also lost another plate due tomorrow. Wow, I'm sooo fucked unlucky.

Might as well redo everything, though I'll still try to find the other plate. It takes time tracing buildings and its surrounding entourage.
